But while of course, I could do nothing but instantly agree though do note I am in fact quite familiar with those mods in question and may be have tried (this is a stretch) *every* grass grass retexture mod,
My principle point would remain to be, you are what I consider the top-echelon (obsessive ilks notwithstanding) of my grasp of the blessed screen-archers
(@NLynch7 would be another on your level as also I wager as is @maczopikczo, let's never forget the late @discovery1 who was such an impressive addition)
those who see details I seem to fail observing.
Hence, since my humble mortal eyes noticed, I was just slightly baffled you ok'd such soaring detail.
The yellow grass sticks out like a soaring thumb. By the current powers of Oblivion Reload and/ or an ENB mitigate that with AO and/or shadows.
PS: IMHO Betty's Far Cry Grass and the currently modern extended version looks great, but honestly lacks diversity.
If I walk outside no square part looks like MacDonalds everything the same-sausage.
Anyway, Scratch my remark, Keep up the good work.
And you very much caught my curiosity with your three teaser screenshots...
@fredlaus: I think there are at least two options for shortening grass (besides installing a grass mod with smaller grass-size meshes):
[A]:In "Oblivion.ini" disable the following:bDoTallGrassEffect=1 [B]:Just install "Oblivion Reloaded". Because then you can easily open it's included"Grass.ini" and lower the following value: [Default]MinHeight=1 <-- lower this value below "1" and grass will be lower than default size. Hope this helps.
