Dynamic Map - Terrain Map for 'Unique Landscape Compilation'

If anyone is interested, Dynamic Map only incorporates the individual Unique Landscape mods (with their individual esps). I'm playing with the merged version, from Unique Landscapes Compilation, so I made my own, copy-pasting each individual terrain change onto the terrain map used for Dynamic Maps. This map is missing four of the Unique Landscape mods (UL Jerall Glacier, UL Silverfish River Valley, UL The Eastern Peaks, and UL Corbolo Valley) -- I'll add them & reupload once I figure out how.  In addition, I've incorporated the terrain maps for both Valenwood Improved and Elsweyr, Deserts of Anequina -- even though I'm not playing with either mod, adding the correct terrain maps for both regions made it look much more like a true world map. I did smudge the edges a bit where the two mods crossed; I'm not aware if there are any patches to make the two mods play well together, and I'm not sure what a terrain map of that border region would look like. If someone is willing to provide it, I'll certainly update accordingly.

If you want to get this to work in your mod, you need to open with paint.net or some other image editor, and 'save as' the same file as a .dds (Nexus doesn't allow .dds, and has a size limit on images, so I uploaded as a .jpg file). Then place the new image in the following folder in your Oblivion game:
 /Data/Textures/Menus/map/world/cyrodil_resized.dds
Or, if you use MO2, simply 'create an empty mod', create the folders listed above, place the .dds file there, and enable the mod so it replaces your Dynamic Map terrain map texture.

    I really like the map! It’s especially useful because I have the merged plugin for UL.

    One thing, it looks like you added an extra section for the Valenwood Isles and I was wondering if you could do the same for Stirk?

    This map is exactly what I needed except for Stirk. Stirk appears off the edges of the map so I can’t even use the fast travel markers. If you could extend the map to include that island, that would be so helpful.

      Thanks for your post! Unfortunately, there are two problems with your request.

      1) I used the pre-generated textures for the Unique Landscape overhauls, and added them to the pre-existing cryodil_resized.dds file provided by Dynamic Maps. I don't know how to generate my own textures; I remember finding a how-to guide somewhere, but it gave me a headache and I didn't feel remotely competent to manage it. There is no pre-generated texture for Stirk that I could use to add to the main map. If you find out or are willing to generate the texture on your own, let me know and I'll try to incorporate it.

      2) The cryodil_resized.dds file came with Dynamic Maps, and is correctly centered so that the POV cursor/icon correctly shows where you (the player character) are standing. I played around with it a bit when making this image; if you move the base terrain map around, then the map won't be centered. I'm pretty sure the island of Stirk is off the edge of the map, so I'd need to 'expand canvas' to incorporate it once I have a texture. Unfortunately, I have no idea how to do that while keeping the rest of the map correctly centered. If anyone knows more about this, let me know!
