About this image
Work in progress of the first amulet from a upcoming mod. This one is going to be an ancient nord amulet based on the design of this one from Skyrim. Other amulets are planned as part of the mod, one for each of the playable races but I don't know if I will end up doing them all. I am currently limited to vanilla meshes again (my attempt at making new meshes did the stretching to infinity bug in game so I need to work on that) the amulet has two different looks shown here one is with the original (Knights of the Thorn Medallion) amulet's weird vertex shading (mostly visible in the centre) and one without (that looks more flat) I haven't decided what I prefer to use but will once i've added more detail to the amulet.
It's still not finished this is just the first amulet alone. It needs more added to the design in the empty spaces, i'm thinking metal work, a jewel of some kind, a pattern carved in cross hatching maybe and some more shading and grime as its too clean... unless some collector keeps it well cared for I suppose) but I wanted to share it anyway, I haven't forgotten about my mods for Oblivion :)
Though working on an armour or clothing set was too much to invest in right now (especially when I need to practice more on getting cloth textures better for mods I release) as I haven't been playing or modding Oblivion the past few weeks while I recover from an emergency surgery IRL. I don't want my retexturing skills to worsen so this is more practice than anything. No Idea when it will get a release due to other IRL goings on and another surgery in the coming weeks (not major that one but still time consuming) I have no real direction on this one just doing whatever I feel since it's not for any specific character of mine right now (as i'm not currently playing Oblivion that may change if I come up with a character I want to use it for) so i'm not sure where it will go from here if I will do the planned all races jewellery or just a few things or even go entirely off course and do something different with it.
