I am really struggling with this. I was fine up to level 32, then I started messing about with Better Cities and the blackscreen began. I've tried removing the BC mods, reinstalling Oblivion, Bloom, the Nvidia Fix option in Wrye Bash, shouting at it - nothing works. I was not far from finishing my game so I really don't want to have to start a new one. This fix didn't work either. Any suggestions?
I tried this mod on my modded Steam Oblivion + all DLC game in my Windows 10. It didn't solve the black screen (just HUD showing during play) when HDR is enabled, I solved it by : going to the Oblivion Shaders folder (normally: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Oblivion\Data\Shaders) and backup ShaderPackage002.sdp, replace it with a duplicate of ShaderPackage019.sdp (i.e. rename 019 to 002). hat I read is that this forces the use of a newer shader version. Finally, run with HDR enabled. Voilà!
So I tried you're fix and for some reason after doing as you said to fix the black screen the game just crashes on loading a save or starting a new game. This issue didn't start until fairly recent as well but has the same issues, I can go into inventory and view everything no problem but everything is black, my HUD is visible as well
Yeah, doesn't work for me, either. The wierd thing is, I didn't have this bug for a long time. I think it was a Windows update to the nVidia driver that did it, but stripping out the driver and reinstalling from the website doesn't fix it either. Anyone else have any suggestions?
Worked perfectly on the insides , but now i somehow managed to get it outside in Cheydinhal this is exactly what i did before it happened .
made a full actor copy of a guard via CONSOLE then attacked the f**ker and my companions went crazy and started summoning trolls and shooting fire and s#*! .

Kudo for you.
Edit: This mod did nothing to fix my Bethesfail. Nor did tweaking any base video settings. Instead, I fixed it by just turning interior shadows off.
