Frostcrag Spire Revisited 1.4
Description
===========
Like others I was a little disappointed with the interior design of Bethesda's original Frostcrag Spire the higgledypigly mish mash of rooms didn't suit a mage of my standing. So I've rebuilt the tower, designating a room for each activity and redoing all of the original rooms.
The quest no longer starts when you leave the sewers, you'll now get the deed from Jeanne Frasoric after completing Bruma's Mages Guild initiation quest. She also have the magetallow candles which you'll be able to retrieve once she’s dead.
All rooms have all undergone extensive design and functionality changes since 1.3 of this mod; some of the many changes are listed below.
Mainlevel
Summoning pads have been revised from Bethesda's original design to give them more depth. The area in general has been cleaned up, all books or bookshelves have now migrated up to the library. You'll find a spell scroll on the atronarch altar that will teach you a spell to return to your tower at any time along with a small box stocked with a limited number of salts with which to summon atronarchs.
Bedroom Area
Alchemy and bedroom rooms have been switched about. The bedroom is now in the main upstairs tower area and features an upstairs and downstairs area with an east and west guest room.
You'll find the usual suspects here a large double bed, dressers to store those outfits you collect and areas to study in. There are also a number of Mannequin pedestals and display cabinets in the lower bedroom for your best amour and collectibles.
Library Area
Also now features an upstairs and downstairs with plenty of book space and display cabinets for you fill up with study areas upstairs and downstairs. Scripted bookshelf stacking is also included to make adding those troublesome books to high shelves a breeze.
Alchemy Area
Also now features an upstairs and downstairs. Downstairs houses alchemy sorter and jars, as well as automatically equipping alchemy equipment. Upstairs features 2 different flora areas from tamriel and 1 from oblivion for you to collect those needed ingredients easily.
Vault Area
The vault has been completely redone with new meshes and new textures. Featuring many amour display pedestals, cabinets and strong boxes to store valuable items in. The vault is guarded by a number of Frost atronarchs to keep potential thieves away from your stash.
Gateroom Area
New room has been added by request, the gateroom which is purchasable in the same way as the other rooms are.
This is a great new addition and allows you to open an oblivion gate within your tower. You'll need a sigil stone to power the gate, be wary though just as you can travel to the oblivion plane so can deadra travel through to your tower.
Keep an open gate guarded at all times else you could find your tower overrun when you return!
The room features a full animated and environment lit Oblivion gate.
Other things that have been added are:
Furniture to the top tower viewing platform.
An Optional landing pad for those of you that use the Akatosh Mount and a visible when distant LOD so you can see the tower from far away.
Once all of the upgrades have been purchased and the magetallow candles have been retrieved the tower will gain other benefits. Such as atronarch guards and the ring from the original addon.

Upgrade
=======
You may need to start a new game for this plugin upgrade to work. Or try the following to create a clean save:
Those upgrading from a previous version of Frostcrag Spire should make a clean save.
This is done by moving you character to an interior cell such as The best Defense in the Imperial City and saving your game in a new slot.
Then quit and deactivate the mod, relaunch Oblivion (When warned that there is missing content, just choose to continue loading), then save the game again and exit back to the desktop.
Now reactivate the mod again, and launch Oblivion.
1. Before upgrading, remove all items from your chests and containers.
3. Save your game.
4. Uninstall old version.
5. Install new version.
