-----------
I decided to make this mod as I was tired of closing Oblivion Gates without receiving a worthwhile reward. I first tried Anytus' and Tekn0mega's excellent Sigil Stones Expanded & Extended, thinking that the added variety would kept the Gates interesting. Unfortunately, I found my boredom stemmed not from the lack of variety, but the fact that I kept getting Sigil stones that were of no use to my character. Plowing through hordes (well, maybe not hordes, but several) daedra just to receive a Fortify Blunt buff for my mage character provided aboslutely no sense of satisfaction or reward.
So I decided to make this mod.
When you activate a Sigil Stone in a Sigillum Sanguis, a menu will appear asking what type of Sigil Stone you would like. Select your stone, and you are on your way! Note that your won't get a selection menu when you close the Kvatch or Bruma mainquest gates; their Sigil Stones are awarded differently than the other, garden-variety, gates. Don't worry, though, you'll be able to select stones in the rest of the gates.
I have included four versions of the mod. One for vanilla Oblivion, and the other three are for the various flavours of Sigil Stones Expanded & Extended.

Known Compatibility
-------------------
Martigen's Monster Mod
Oscuro's Oblivion Overhaul
Sigil Stones Expanded & Extended
Incompatibility
---------------
None that I am aware of, but in theory any mod that alters the activation script of Sigil Stones.
Known Issues or Bugs
--------------------
The only issues of which I am aware are only when used in conjunction with Sigil Stones Expanded & Extended. Even then, the "issues" have nothing to do with my mod, but rather with missing Sigil Stones. More precisely, SSEE does not add any extended Sigil Stones for the Silence / Resist Magicka Sigil Stone variety.
Note that your won't get a selection menu when you close the Kvatch or Bruma mainquest gates; their Sigil Stones are awarded differently than the other, garden-variety, gates. Don't worry, though, you'll be able to select stones in the rest of the gates.
Contact me if you find any other issues or bugs.
