The code is just 2 simple script attached to 2 weapons, one acting as the dummy or sheathedWeapon and another as the regular weapon.
To see the effect, add Captain Renaults Sword to yourself, equip it, then sheath and unsheathe it in 3rdPerson.
The animation blends are very smooth when the weapons are switched, so it doesn't look strange when a claymore turns into a long sword.
Anyway, I wrote this when someone in a forum needed help in sheathing a reverse blade like a regular blade.
Another interesting use for this code is to have a sigil stone as the dummysheathed weapon, which would then turn into a regular weapon, making it seem like the stone transformed into the weapon.
Or have a dummyGlassdagger as a 2handed weapon, so it gets attached to the player's back when sheathed, that turns into a 1handed glass long sword, giving you another morph effect.
Anyone can use the code anyway they like as long as they give credit to where credit is due.
