About this mod
Adds versions of certain vanilla Oblivion and SI clothing and armor to the game that can be worn by male and female cross-dressers. They are available at a new store in the IC Market District.

happened to run across this in my travels, and decided to reupload it to a web-site
that actually gets a lot of traffic. Many people will disapprove of the content of
this mod, although it is just a bunch of people wearing clothing you wouldn't expect
them to wear. If this mod offends you, then don't download it and don't play it.

Requires Shivering Isles
This mod makes it so you and your companions can cross-dress using new versions
of certain vanilla Oblivion and Shivering Isles clothing and armors. The items are
available for sale at a new store in the Imperial City Market District. There are a lot
of customers in the store wearing the new versions of the clothing, so you can see how it
looks on them before buying. Also be sure to go upstairs and downstairs. There are more
NPCs there to look at. It is all part of the same shop, and none of it is off-limits
during business hours.
The mod was made almost entirely in the CS and did not use Blender. Settings are
changed so that male apparel models can be used on female bodies and vice versa. This means
that there will be seams, gaps, and clipping unless you wear a complete set of cross-dressing
clothing so that the midriff seam, ankle seams, and wrist seams do not show up. With
combinations where wrist and ankle seams do show up, you can cover them with shoes, boots,
gauntlets, or long sleeved tops. The main thing you need to do is get both a shirt portion
and a pants portion of an outfit you want to wear. There are no neck gaps or seams beyond
what is normal. Since the clothing is not adjusted to the gender of the wearer, males look
shapely, slim, and feminine. Females look really tough and stout.
This mod does not change any of the NPCs in the base game or other mods. It only
changes the new NPCs in the store, and yourself and your companions if you want to use the
modified items.
This mod does not include every item of clothing and armor in the game. It focuses
on providing the most feminine-looking items to men. All these same items were also fixed
to look masculine on women. The emphasis is also on nice colorful clothing. Who wants to
wear brown, dirty, impoverished-looking lower-class stuff anyway? So I have done all the
pretty dresses from Oblivion and Shivering Isles and some other items.
I expect that the main users of this mod will be men who want to wear dresses. It
could also be useful for women who do not want to wear dresses and prefer pants and shirts.
It also allows women to wear the male versions of Iron and Chainmail armor which are less
revealing and more realistic. People who have no intention of wearing the clothing might
go to the store just to look at the people, because they provide a spectacle you don't see
every day. Some people might also get some amusement from buying items and dressing up
their companions to make them look funny. The mod can be used however you like.
Installation: Extract the .esp and the meshes to Oblivion\Data. Put a check or X in the
box next to Cross-dressing.esp in your mod manager.
