About this mod
A lovely, well-equipped home just outside of the Imperial City. After a brief quest, it can be yours. There is also a version that comes with a female roommate and enchanted horse. The horse will come to you if you cast a spell.

For the House Only Version:
I figured you probably shouldn't just get the house out of nowhere, so I also made a very brief quest to help it seem more realistic a scenario. To start the quest, go to the front door of Goldenwreath only to find it locked. But what's this? A scroll on the porch? How strange! I wonder what it could be... Don't expect much from this version of the quest; it was my first attempt at quest making, and really just serves to make the acquisition of the house more believable. But I had fun making it, and that's the real quest, isn't it?
Requirements: Latest Oblivion patch, the strength and coordination it takes to point and click a mouse.
Installation: Extract the .esp file to your Oblivion "Data" folder, then activate it in the Oblivion launcher's "Data Files" menu.
Uninstallation: Delete the .esp. This isn't rocket science.
For the Version with Roommate and Horse (for those of us who hate to have all that house and no one with whom to share it):
Go into the house and speak to the woman, Virnja. You can find her between 9 and 3, otherwise she is occupied elsewhere, so you should start the quest in the morning. After you complete it you will gain ownership of the house and the horse that is stabled outside. The horse cannot be killed, is slightly faster than all other available horses, and comes with a spell "Horse Whisper" after you complete the quest. Casting the spell will cause the horse to come to you (I hated running around looking for my nag all the time, even with the "Dude, Where's my Horse" mod that does not always work).
Requirements: Latest Oblivion patch.
Installation: Extract the .esp file to your Data folder for Oblivion, then activate it in the Oblivion launcher's "Data Files" menu. To keep the dialogue text on the screen longer than 2 seconds, you will also need to extract and merge the sound files into your Oblivion sound folder. They are silent, but necessary for this reason.
Recommended: Again, I'm all about the realism. For its sake, I would not acquire the house until your character has leveled up to where he or she should own such a home.
