Fluffy Follower Frill introduces a simple, insignificant and somewhat straightforward follower management system for Oblivion. The idea is to enhance the follower aspect of the game while keeping things simple and understandable. The plan is to include some of the essential sort of follower features to the game, but also keep things as compatible as possible. Everything is done via scripts. Also do note that this mod will never be of professional quality, so it might cause all sorts of issues. Unless you are ready to run into issues that can potentially be extremely severe, please consider using something like the more popular CM Partners or Companion Share and Recruit, anything else, really, please. Thank you.
The mod is built completely on scripts, so compatibility should be at a relatively acceptable level, however do expect issues with other follower management systems. It is also worth noting that recruiting quest-related NPCs, for example, will cause their quest-related AI packages to not be run when intended, thus breaking quests. Features included in the mod are the following:
- recruit and dismiss, wait, follow
- follower inventory access
- follower status report (health, magicka, stamina, responsibility, etc.)
- equipment type selection (clothing, armour, random, nothing)
- followers can heal themselves and repair and recharge their equipment
- point-and-press-hotkey commands plus command cancelling
- relatively straightforward simple ambush via hotkey
- player home accessible via summonable portal
- all dialogue voiced with lipsync using vanilla + SI assets
- easy to add new custom followers
There is also an optional plugin that changes the original systems, for example the ones from the Dark Brotherhood and Mages Guild, to use the new system. This plugin, however, is both experimental and optional, provided just to see if it is possible to replace existing follower management schemes with the new system without causing too much issues. So that plugin is experimental and pretty much untested.
Requirements

- Unofficial Oblivion Patch
- Unofficial Shivering Isles Patch
- Oblivion Script Extender (OBSE)
- AddActorValues (the OBSE plugin)

Should Custom Spell Icons be installed, the spells will have custom-made icons, Custom Spell Icons is not required. Should you wish to use the gramphone to play music, you need to have Enhanced Music and Control 2 (EMC2) installed and the music file located in "Music\FluffyFollowerFrill\Gramphone.mp3" for it to play the music you have chosen - no music is included in the mod and EMC2 is not required for the mod to work. To have HUD messages active, you will need Hud Status Bars Enhanced (HSBE) installed - HSBE is not required to use the mod, though.
