TandemTouch by ishiitakeru has to be the closest to a mod implements a similar thing as Ride Sharing for Skyrim, a mod that allows the player to share a ride with their companion. I only wanted to replace the companion sitting idle for TandemTouch with one that looks less like they're sitting like a pretty lady in front of you. The mod itself is just pretty buggy. With this animation replacer, the third person camera will constantly bounce back and forth while you're both on horseback... Also, this mod doesn't work as intended on Vilja, as soon as you get on your horse she will insist on mounting Bruse instead. Despite the issues of this mod, it was simultaneously made for screenshotting purposes.
I included a slightly tweaked version of the TandemTouch plugin and I take no credit for the framework. All I did was to set the sitting idle to use "SpecialIdle" rather than "Whole Body". Otherwise the legs of the NPC looks off while they're sitting on your horse's backside.
