About this mod
This adds five Blue Team Battle Raiments to the Raiment Locker near Owyn, the Arena Blademaster; these raiments are neither Heavy or Light Armor -they are clothing. I made this, so my Mage character does not suffer any armor penalties to spells. It offers zero protection, so you've to make up for that by protective spells and/or rings and amulets.

01. What & Why
This is a simple mod: armor (either heavy or light) always has a certain percentage of -simplistically put- spell failure.
f.i. My custom Frenzy spell (designed to affect people up to level 25 -and assuming my character is level 25 or higher) might fail because my mage is wearing armor; and the spell would succeed instead, whilst wearing nothing but clothing
Fighting in the Arena requires your character to wear either a Heavy Raiment or a Light Raiment, i.e. armor.
This mod adds 5 Arena Ultra Light Raiments to the closet near Owyn the Blademaster; these are articles of clothing, offering zero protection!!! So you will need protective spells, rings and amulets in order to survive anything the enemy can throw at you.
As a reminder: shields are armor too, thus they will affect spell failure.

02. Requirements
Oblivion GOTY or Oblivion GOTY Deluxe, official patch 1.2.0416.
An Archive Utility such as WinZip, WinRAR, 7-zip etc.
Some form of Archive Invalidation.
(Why GOTY? The Oblivion.esm (master-)file of the GOTY version contains records of Shivering Isles (See Pictures).

03. Installation
- Download the Main Archive.
- Extract the Archive using a utility such as WinZip, WinRAR, 7-zip, etc.
- Either Copy/Paste or Cut/Paste the extracted ESP file into your Oblivion\Data folder
- Make sure to Activate the mod by using a mod manager or the Game Launcher.
- Toggle ArchiveInvalidation off and on (I use the function within NMM; the Nexus Mod Manager; https://github.com/Nexus-Mods/Nexus-Mod-Manager)
(- If you're experiencing texture or mesh mishaps, download, extract and install the Optional archive
- Toggle ArchiveInvalidation off and on).
-Start up your game:
- Head to the Arena Bloodworks and talk with Owyn the Blademaster to join the Arena as a combatant; choose a heavy or light Arena Battle Raiment -it doesn't really matter.
- End the dialogue.
- Activate the cabinet/closet/locker; store the armor you just received and grab 1 Ultra Light Raiment. Wear it and talk to Owyn again between 09:00 a.m. and 09:00 p.m. and tell him you are ready for a match.
And may Azura have mercy on your soul.
If you wish to install the optional file "Raiment of Valor included", download and extract the archive; copy / paste into your Oblivion\Data folder. If you previously installed the Main Archive ESP, then overwrite the existing ESP when prompted.
Only install the meshes and textures folders if the Raiment of Valor appears visually challenged; if you do this, remember to toggle your ArchiveInvalidation off and back on -I use the built-in tool of NMM (Nexus Mod Manager; the Community Edition). Scroll up for a link to its github location.

04. Deinstallation
- Uncheck the ESP file and -if you want to- delete it. The Optional files can be removed manually.
(I'm guessing Bob's your uncle).

05. Bugs & Other Detrimental Side Effects
- If you experience mesh/texture glitches, make sure our method of ArchiveInvalidation is working; if need be, install the optional files.
- This plugin modifies the Raiment Locker within the Arena Bloodworks; any other mod that alters this locker or the Arena Bloodworks in general might pose a possible conflict.
- The optional file "Raiment of Valor included", adds a crystal ball to the Imperial City Arena Bloodworks (behind Ysabel Andronicus is a cupboard; the crystal ball is slighlty to its left on the floor); this is a scripted activator that should add a Raiment of Valor clothing variant if your character is Grand Champion. As yet, it is untested.
