Manual Leveling
The Manual Leveling mod is an idea I got from Skyrim after coming back to Oblivion. I always liked being able to level anywhere and at any time. This mod allows you to manually level up by pushing the L key when your level progress bar is full, and restores your health, magicka, and fatigue bar to full (also like in Skyrim). Also if you push the L key when your progress bar isn't full, you'll get a message in the corner that tells you how many skill points you need until your next level (as shown in the included picture).
Incompatibilities
This only works with a vanilla leveling system where each level requires 10 skill ups, otherwise it will break. This means it's incompatible with mods' features that change how the level up progress bar works such as Realistic Leveling.
Sleep Bypass
Sleep Bypass is an idea I cooked up from reading some forum posts on the internet of people saying they want to be able to sleep without leveling, which is entirely reasonable since the world levels with you. It's nice to be able to pass the time by sleeping (which is often more realistic and immersive than waiting) without having to level.
Unfortunately because of script/engine limitations bypassing normal sleep causes sleep time to begin and end instantly. To me, this was an unfortunate unintended part of the mod, but it can also be beneficial as it saves time. There's no other way I can see that sleep can begin normally but be bypassed other than what was done, but I'm continuing my search to make improvements for later versions.
Incompatibilities/Known Bugs
Because this mod messes with sleep via scripts, it's possible that it may break parts of the game and mods that work with sleeping. Be sure to report any bugs you run into, and if you do run into one I recommend deactivating this mod temporarily to get past it.
There is one such issue I have run into so far. Bypassing sleep prevents advancing through the Anvil Mages Guild recommendation quest when you have to sleep at the inn. Since I have confirmed bugs, I'll be adding a feature into this mod soon to be able to turn it off in game.
