Simple Keyring adds a key ring to the game. From it, you can manage all your keys and have access to locked doors and containers without having to have all your keys taking up space in your inventory. Equip the keyring on a hotkey or activate it from the inventory menu. Once you do, you will see several options to manage the keys in your inventory.

(1) Auto Sorting: If you activate it, every three seconds your keyring will automatically absorb all the keys you have in your inventory. (2) Move Keys to Keyring: As directed, move all keys from your inventory to the keyring at once. (3) Move Keys to Inventory: Moves all keys from the keyring to the player's inventory, activating this option automatically disables Auto Sorting. (4) You can directly access the contents of the keyring if you want to manually manage the keys in it. Note that if Auto Sorting is turned on, the keys will go back to the keyring, so turn it off.

The keyring needs an activation key. This key is used to indicate that you want to open a container or door with the key fob. By default the activation key is "E", but you can change this setting by modifying the ".ini" file that the mod adds and following the internal instructions. You can set the trigger key to the same trigger key you have in Oblivion settings, it doesn't interfere at all with the game or mod working.

Note: Some keys may not be absorbed by the key ring. Don't worry, move that particular key to another container and put it back in your inventory, that will fix the problem.

Note: If you have a key with special characteristics, such as a custom "Script" to activate a certain Quest or some other similar effect. I recommend that you use it from your inventory when it's time to use it, since your keyring only understands one thing... "If I have the key you can open the door", any other effect associated with that key will skip it.

Remember: If you are going to uninstall the mod, first move the keys from the keychain to your inventory. Otherwise, you will lose all keys once you uninstall the mod. You need xObse for the mod to work.

Enjoy it!
