About this mod

Adds some silent tracks to Oblivion's music pool, giving the game some breathing room so that music won't play non-stop.

Music in Oblivion never stops playing. This can get kind of obnoxious after a while, even with Oblivion having such a glorious soundtrack. Bethesda caught on to this in Skyrim and added some periods of silence to the game's music selection, so music isn't playing 24/7.

This mod adds that functionality to Oblivion. You can now encounter periods of silence while exploring interspersed with the regular tracks.

How is this different from Silent Tracks Expanded? Firstly that mod adds too much silence IMO, and secondly it adds the same amount of silence to every type of music. Basically, that means you'll be hearing way less music in towns and dungeons than you will in the wilderness with that mod installed. This one takes into account that there is considerably less music in the dungeon and public folders than the explore folder, so that there is an even amount of space in each.

That's all, enjoy.
