About this mod

This bumps up the value of PC brewed potions to be more in line with store bought potions, in terms of value to effectiveness ratios. Your potions are worthy too!

In vanilla, Oblivion applies a 0.45 multiplier to player character brewed potions, so you can't sell them for as much.  But this means you can brew potions that are far more effective than equivalent ones in the store, but aren't valued nearly as much.

This mod bumps that multiplier up to 1.1 to be closer with store bought values.  There is also now a 2.0 multiplier file that brings them closer to in line with store bought.

Yes, this means you can make a ton of money doing alchemy, which significantly alters the balance of the economy... but if this disparity in value offends you, this mod will fix that.

I have also made a mod that decreases store bought potion prices instead, to come at this disparity from a different angle that doesn't mess with the economy nearly as much:

If making a ton of money and jacking up the economy don't sound good to you, I highly recommend my complete Alchemy Overhaul called Gradual Alchemy of the Third Era.  Get version 1.2+ for the decreased value bought potions, get version 1.1 for buffed bought potion effectiveness to make them deserve their high value.
The 0.7 value version of this mod pairs nicely with Gradual Alchemy of the Third Era

Installation:
Mod Manager: I recommend Vortex, click install with mod manager and enable and deploy the file.
Manually: I don't recommend, but its still easy.  Place it in the Oblivion
Remastered\OblivionRemastered\Content\Dev\ObvData\Data folder.  It should be next to all the other plugins.  If installing manually, don't forget to add the plugin to the plugin list (Vortex takes care of this, but if you're doing it manually you still need to).

If you're crashing while launching the game with Vortex, make sure your plugin folder has the vanilla plugins in the CORRECT order and also make sure my esp is in there.
