Changelogs
My adaptation of the mod Sigil Stone Selector. That mod lets you choose your Sigil Stone when you close an Oblivion Gate. Instead, this mod leaves the initial Sigil Stone you get when closing the Oblivion Gate random, but you can change its effects to your choice at the cost of a Varla Stone.

Finally you have a good reason to seek out those rare Varla Stones in Ayleid Ruins!

How to use
  • Have a Varla Stone and Sigil Stone in your inventory.
  • Drop the Sigil Stone you want to change from your inventory to the ground.
  • Pick up the Sigil Stone again, a messagebox menu pops up. Choose "Yes".
  • Go through the resulting messagebox(es) and choose the enchantment effects you want.
  • You'll get a confirmation message, then you can find your transmuted Sigil Stone in your inventory.

Special notes
  • If you choose the same effect that the Sigil Stone already had, you will still lose a Varla Stone.
  • The new Sigil Stone will be appropriate for your current level, so if you don't have another mod that auto-levels your Sigil Stones, this mod gives a way to upgrade them.

NEW: Alternative Version
The alternative version upgrades a Sigil Stone exactly one tier every time it's transmuted, regardless of player character level. You can theoretically get a lowest tier Sigil Stone to the highest tier at the cost of 4 Varla Stones while your character is still level 1. Possibly overpowering, but you'll have worked for it!

Compatibility
Compatible with anything that doesn't edit Sigil Stones directly. Compatible with Sigil Stone Selector, although somewhat rendundant.

Manual install
Drop the ESP plugin in Oblivion Remastered\OblivionRemastered\Content\Dev\ObvData\Data
Add it to your Plugins.txt in that same folder.

Credits to Omnishambles9 for letting me use his script as a base!
Credits to kpvw for allowing me to incorporate their "Visible Sigil Stone Effects" mod for better Sigil Stone names, and their convenient xEdit script to do so!
