Some design decisions in the Oblivion remaster are truly baffling: AI-upscaled textures bloating the game to over 100GB, thick hazy fog covering everything, a compressed color palette (in the age of HDR!), and a completely ruined UI aesthetic. While the remaster's loading screens are technically well-made, they no longer feel like Oblivion -- they have the vibe of yet another generic medieval RPG.
