Speed & Gravity for projectiles are changed for the better imo.
Finally I can shoot an arrow that isn't in limp mode.
This tweak only affects Arrows NOT Bow draw speed. I think it's a fair trade.
INSTALLATION:
Extract/Navigate to:
ThisPC>windows(C:)>Users>YourUserName>Documents>my games>Oblivion Remastered>Saved>Config>Windows
C:\Users\YourUserName\Documents\my games\Oblivion Remastered\Saved\Config\Windows
-This is where most ini are kept.
Altar.ini is blank by default, but this is where you tweak stuff to your hearts desire.
-If you put the default value back in, it will disappear after you close the game. It has to be a different value/state for it to stick.
UNINSTALL:
Delete these lines in Altar.ini:
[/Script/Altar.VOblivionRuntimeSettings]
ArrowGravityScale=0.200000
[/Script/UE5AltarPairing.VOblivionInitialSettings]
ArrowInitialSpeedMultiplier=7700.000000
If you don't like these values, tweak away to find your preference, but these suit me fine.
Notes: As this affects ALL arrows (AFAIK) Any Guard/Enemy firing their bow at you might miss and the arrow will wizz past your head. In testing I watched an NPC firing at the targets and all arrows were on top of the target or the NPC was crap at aiming.
I tested without the speedmulti, left the adjusted gravity to check if the speed was a factor. Arrow dropped, but not as low as default values, so the speed is real!
