About this mod
Removes almost all instant alchemy effects - applies them over a duration. Buffs duration of many potions & alcohol. Lower weight versions available.

Removes almost all instant alchemy effects from potions, food, and ingredients, and instead applies them over a duration usually about 7-15 seconds. Also lengthens duration of many potions to about 30-60 seconds and alcohol up to 120-360 seconds (you will usually have a hangover period of just negative effects, but the positives are strong, a few beverages of exceptional quality won't leave you with a hangover, and a few even leave you feeling better). This mod makes the game harder in some ways, and easier in others. You wont be able to cheese a fight by instantly swallowing 9,001 CCs of potions, but you also won't need to top up on fortify potions as often.
But don't worry, this isn't meant to be a hardcore mod, just immersive, because you have to wait for the effects, I've added overall effectiveness to potions. For example, a potion that healed you 75 points will now heal you 91 points overall, or a potion that healed you 30 points will now heal you 36. I tried to scale the bonus sensibly. In a way its balanced with vanilla.

Vanilla amount -> New amount (difference from vanilla)
5->1x7=7 (+2)

20->2x13=26 (+6)
30->4x9=36 (+6)
35->4x11=44 (+9)
50->5x12=60 (+10)
75->7x13=91 (+16)
100->9x14=126 (+26)
HOWEVER, not all ingredients are created equal, some are longer in duration or higher in magnitude, but are generally pretty similar, but some rarer items are a bit better, like 18 total effectiveness to 21 or something like that
I left a lot of the drain potions alone.
I've also attempted to co-balance the potions you find and the potions you can make. Though admittedly this is tricky in Oblivion with the separate alchemy tools (Novice Alembic, Journeyman Calcinator, etc...)
Installation:
Mod Manager: I recommend Vortex, click install with mod manager and enable and deploy the file.
Manually: I don't recommend, but its still easy. Place it in the Oblivion Remastered\OblivionRemastered\Content\Dev\ObvData\Data folder. It should be next to all the other plugins. If installing manually, don't forget to add the plugin to the plugin list (Vortex takes care of this).
If you're crashing while launching the game with Vortex, make sure your plugin folder has the vanilla plugins in the
CORRECT order and also make sure my esp is in there.

Compatibility:
Anything that changes potion, food, and ingredient records will be incompatible, you wont crash or anything, but only one mod will win. I have made a 0.1 weight version and a weightless version!
