Remastered ported version of my follower mod. This version is non-OBSE currently so some features such as follower stats are omitted for now.


-No requirements
-Not balanced, it was designed to be customizable and convenient.

Compatability:
This mod should work with other companion mods. However it can be buggy if you mix commands.

To Install:
Place Advanced Followers.esp into OblivionRemastered\Content\Dev\ObvData\Data
Add Advanced Followers.esp to Plugins.txt in Data folder

To uninstall:
-Remove the mod from the Plugins.txt and delete the files.
Not recommended with scripted follower mods. Make a backup save before enabling to be safe.

Known issues (Please read before leaving a comment or bug):

-Generic respawning NPCs like guards will reset gear when going to new areas. So don't trade any gear with them. -will try to come up with a temporary setting but they will revert back to default gear anyway after dismissal...

-Essential status toggle is not working currently. -working on a alternate way of immortality

-Sharing inventory while bound items are active will CTD. -will try to prevent further inventory share crashes

-Story and Essential NPCs can cause some gamebreaking and mod breaking issues. If you do have them following you remove them from your party and they should resume quest behavior.

-Adding a creature while under another spell effect will cause them to stop following at the end of the spells duration. Use the options spell to force them to follow again. Only one version of the creature will follow you but sometimes the race of the creature will be non hostile to you. This is only for that one creature race.

-Reset your follower and add them again if they are not doing anything, going in trespassing override mode or being a menace in general.

-Limited testing done on this version. Please report any other issues you encounter.


Features:

Spells:

Are automatically added after you escape your cell or start somewhere else.

Adding to party:
Must be a living friendly NPC with a disposition of 70 to follow. For creatures they need to be non-aggressive or tamed by another spell effect like calm or command creature. You can have a total of 3 NPC Followers + 1 Creature Follower.

Adding a member to your party will:
  • Receive a blessing ability (Party buff)
  • Ignore friendly hits
  • Add them to follower faction

Dismiss & Remove:
The removal of a party member will reset all stats back to their default values. Essential status and equipment will remain.
Cleared when no longer following or dead. A Notification will show.

Sharing Items:
A sack will be placed at your followers feet with all their items in it. You have 10 seconds to access it and make changes. Then it will be added back to the follower you are sharing with.

Summoning and Reviving:
While in the following state, followers can be summoned to you. 
You have a 2 minute window to revive your fallen followers.

Options Spell:
Can switch on/off the main processing for behavior like sneaking and sandboxing AI.
Edit party members AI and Crime reaction.


Tech Details:
With the main processing active:
While following with the main process active your followers will automatically sneak while the player is and will remove any light source the NPC has active.

Main process off:
NPCs will not have these auto behaviors work. Sandboxing behavior will not be updated. You will have to remove dead followers manually from the options menu.

Notes:

  • All torches are removed from inventory while sneaking or in water to prevent re-equip spam.
  • Cannot summon when on horseback & adding a follower will make current followers dismount.
  • Sandbox behavior will force dismount. Options spell force follow does the same.
  • NPCs will not follow to interior cells while on horse.
  • NPCs will not loot while on mount.
