About this mod

This is a very simple mod that fixes a long standing bug / mistake bethesda made with the Raiments of Valor armor you get from completing the Arena questline, which caused the armor to break incredibly fast.

The armor you get from completing the arena questline (Raiment of Valor) has very little health due to an oversight. This was present in the 2006 version and was not ever fixed (besides with the unofficial oblivion patch which is not compatable with the remaster, at least not yet.)

I fixed this issue by increasing the health for both heavy and light raiments to 2000- this is the same value as the regular raiments you would have been using until you beat the Grand Champion, which I felt is more than enough. It should have at least the same health as the generic raiments any Arena Fighter would recieve.

This is a pretty simple mod, so nothing should break by using this. I installed it halfway through my playthrough with the armor equipped with no issues. It should also work through any update the game recieves (Unless this issue itself is fixed with a patch)

Hope this helps- now you can actually use these armor sets without it crumbling to dust in 3 hits. If there is any other items in the game like this, let me know, and I can fix those too. This mod has also been fixed so it does not show a NL tag before the items name.

(Below shows the original health values, from the oblivion wiki.)

TO INSTALL THIS MOD -

1.  Navigate to \Oblivion Remastered\OblivionRemastered\Content\Dev\ObvData\Data (You can get here on the Steam version by right clicking the game in your Steam library and clicking Properties, then clicking Installed Files, and finally, clicking Browse.)

2.  Move the "RaimentHealthFix.esp" file into this folder

3. Find the plugins.txt file in that same folder and add "RaimentHealthFix.esp" to the bottom of it. This tells the game to load the plugin.

4. Done! The mod should load successfully now. Your raiments of valor should not break in a few hits anymore.

Installing via Vortex or any mod manager should work as well, although I personally have not tested this.
