This mod changes the Objective Marker texture on the compass to have a blank texture. (T_UI_Compass_Goal_Frame.uassett and T_UI_Compass_Goal_Fill.uassett, for both the Frame and Colored part of the Objective marker in the Compass)
The Objective Markers work on the World Map and the Local Map, but do not show on the compass.
This mod alone does not remove World markers (such as forts, city doors, ect.) from showing on the compass. I recommend No Compass Map Marker by IxionXVII with this mod to make the compass act simply as a compass.
This has not been tested with any other UI mod, but it likely wouldn't have conflicts (from my perspective with two days of headbutting Unreal Engine to learn how to apply changes.)
Installation: Extract from the .zip file and place the three files into: Oblivion Remastered\OblivionRemastered\Content\Paks\~mods You may have to create the "~mods" folder
This is still early days of Oblivion Remastered Modding! I fully expect there to be more elegant solutions for modders and users in the future.
