About this mod
This fix enables you to use XeSS upscaling for the Gamepass version. The last update broke it. It will be fixed but until then this will fix.
- Permissions and credits
For graphic cards that cant use dlss such as the GTXs & people who had XeSS working better then DLSS & FDR before the patch , Many AMD users and those who cant get DLLS and FDR working.
Install
Step 1
Copy Altar.ini file from zip to WimGDK folder and over ride existing file. (feel free to back up blank file so no need)
(file found in Documents\My Games\Oblivion Remastered\Saved\Config\WinGDK )
Step 2
launch game and Load a save.
Step 3
open Command Console in game by pressing ~ button . type Altar.XeSS.Enabled 1 and hit enter button
Step 4
Close Command Console in game by pressing ~ button
Step 5
Play Game and Profit with a lot better smother game .
Notes Important
1. You will not see the fps counter go up , this is a glitch , you will feel and see difference if playing at anything less then 60 fps before
2. can change value of XeSS.QualityMode=1 from 1 -4 by changing file settings from read only off . found 1 to work best for me. if you do make sure to reset the file to read only or game will reset.
3. can turn off XeSS by doing same cc command but changing 1 to 0
