Changelogs
Version 1.4.0
Workbench can now assemble 10 rockets in 5 seconds. Stop doing it the hard way on the floor!
Version 1.3.0
Updated for game version 184.2, not compatible with previous game versions. * Rocket storage quantity greatly boosted due to massive meteor spam and length of storms * Rocket range adjusted to now go between 100 - 100,000 meters... (recommended between 400-800)
Version 1.2.0
Last Update was bad.. Replaced with this one.
Version 1.0.1
Changed distance slider to kilometers instead of meters. Who wants to put 4,538 as a range? Fixed: When grinding you could get a stack of 0 rockets??
Version 1.0.0
Initial Upload
This mod will change your life when it comes to Meteor Storms. You will be given two settings to adjust your rocket launcher.
The first Setting, "Rocket Storage", is a dropdown list for (5,10,15,20,40,80,100,150) and this is how many rockets you can store. The image of rockets in the container will NOT go past 5 so don't look there for the number you have in storage... check the interface.
The second setting, "Target Distance", makes a HUGE difference in how the rocket launcher performs. If you set a short range the launcher will fire faster but only at closer targets. The shorter the distance the less rockets are "wasted" on targets outside of the range you are protecting.
With this mod it is possible to protect 3-4 connected base parts using as little as 20 rockets(you may need more IF the storm lasts a long time) provided you leave the distance at 5k or less.
This mod will ALSO let you get rockets BACK if you grind down the launcher where as the game will NOT. If you make changes to rocket count you MUST save/load to have the changes take affect.
There are some known bugs. Will post update when I can.
This mod requires BepInEx installed. ConfigurationManager is optional but recommended. This mod can be install by Vortex mod manager but you must already have bepinex installed manually(because the one on Nexus is old). Manual installation instructions:(if you already have bepinex installed, Do step 2 then skip to step 6)
Open your Game directory by going to steam library -> right click on the game -> Manage -> Browse Local Files
Unzip Bepinex directly into that folder.
Run the game and then Exit the game once you see the main menu.
IF you did things right you will see a folder called "plugins" inside the bepinex folder.
NOW you can unzip this mod into the "plugins" folder.
Edit the generated config file (AFTER you run the game once). Bepinex/config/ViroMan.Rocket_Man.cfg if you want to change things... or use the ConfigurationManager in game. If you install the recommended ConfigurationManager when in game you can change any setting you like by pressing ESC first to pause the game and then hitting F1 to bring up the menu. (you can change what F key is used to bring up the menu (AND YOU SHOULD!))
Attention: IF you want to use ConfigurationManager you have to edit your bepinex/Config/BepInEx.cfg file. Find the line "HideManagerGameObject = false" Change it to true. THEN ConfigurationManager will show when you call for it. Thanks to Zuleica for bringing it to my attention that they couldn't get it to show!
