About this mod
A mod that improves the less useful skills, whilst leaving the strong ones as they are in base game.
It is currently untested, but everything should work fine - please let me know in a dignified way if anything doesn't work.

MAJOR SKILL CHANGES
WARRIOR
- Piercing Thrust replaced with Run Through, a Spear attack against all foes.
- Stout Wall changed to affect all allies.
- Enervating Slash now debuffs physical and elemental attack instead of consuming buffs.
- Ultimate Stance replaced with Triplet, which deals Spear damage 3 times and breaks 3 shields regardless of type.
- Brand's Blade now extends debuffs on the enemy (untested) to maximum duration.
- Summon Strength replaced with Master of Offense.
- Deal More Damage replaced with Arms Refinement (damage cap is now 99,999 by default).
MERCHANT
- Ember now hits twice.
- Arrows of Fortune targets all enemies.
- Collect now has 100% success rate at all boost levels.
- Hired Help replaced with Optimism, which turns negative status effects into positive ones.
- Share SP replaced with Pay Rise, which uses money to grant increased BP generation for an ally.
- Negotiate Schedule replaced with United Front, which makes self-targeting skills affect the whole party.
- Grows on Trees replaced with Lasting Memory.
SCHOLAR
- Analyze now reveals 3/5/7/9 weaknesses instead of 1/2/3/4.
- Teach replaced with Reflective Barrier, which grants reflect to a single ally.
DANCER
- Sweeping Gale now hits twice.
- Stimulate replaced with Quickstep, which allows an ally to act first for 2/3/4/5 turns.
- Bewildering Grace replaced with Dance of Immunity, which grants immunity to status effects for an ally for 2/4/6/8 turns.
- Hard Worker replaced with A Step Ahead.
HUNTER
- Thunderbird now hits twice.
- Mercy Strike replaced with Merciless Strike, which has a fixed chance to deal heavy critical damage to a single foe.
- Abating Orb now affects all foes.
- Indomitable Beast replaced with Hunter's Mark, which causes all hits against a single foe to be critical hits.
- Provoke Beasts provokes 1 less beast than before.
- Eagle Eye replaced with Peak Performance.
- More Rare Monsters bonus increased from 2% to 5%.
THIEF
- Steal now always works.
- Darkest Night now hits twice.
- Shackle Foe now debuffs Elemental Attack as well as Physical Attack.
- Swift Step now increases Speed and Evasion for all allies.
- Incidental Attack and Ensnare now have 100% chance to proc.
- Fleetfoot replaced with Upgraded Accessories.
- Life in the Shadows replaced with BP Regeneration.
- Aeber's Reckoning now deals less damage by default.
CLERIC
- Heal Wounds now heals more HP.
- Holy Light now hits twice.
- Sacred Shield replaced with Divine Aura, which regenerates SP of the whole party for 2/3/4/5 turns.
- Aelfric's Blessing has duration reduced by 1.
- Inner Strength replaced with Divine Wrath.
- Evil Ward now always works.
APOTHECARY
- Icicle now hits twice.
- The poison debuff from Poison Axe now lasts 2/4/6/8 turns.
- Healing Touch now heals a lot more HP.
- Rehabilitate now lasts 3/5/7/9 turns.
- Replenish Health now always lasts for 3 turns, but restores a greater portion of MaxHP each turn.
- Weak to Poison replaced with Weak to Elements, which debuffs the Elemental Defense of a single foe for 2/4/6/8 turns.
- You can now choose the target of Castti's Remedy.
- There is now an upper limit on how many of each Concoct ingredient that can be carried, most importantly for pomegranate leaves.
- Hale and Hearty replaced with Purification.
- Inspiriting Break replaced with SP Saver.
OTHER CHANGES
- The damage limit is now 99,999 by default, removing the need for the support skill Deal More Damage.
- Skill description texts have all been updated to a new format, where the percentage of the related stat is displayed as a power guide.
- Auto-capture for Ochette will now work 100% of the time instead of just 25%.
- The base stats of the base jobs have been increased so they are halfway between the base and advanced jobs, this is because advanced jobs have been removed from the game.
- Throne's path action Steal now offers either 100% or 0% chance of success, to prevent the acquisition of game-breaking items, or tedium/repetition.
- Upper limits have been reduced for Concoct items, to prevent spamming pomegranate leaves at every opportunity. They are still available in lower quantities, and in a future update I intend to reduce the effectiveness of them instead of this method, but for now it's only possible to carry 10 of them at a time, which is probably still OP.
