About this mod
OPPW4 with a surreal, higher-dimensional vibe via "holographic"/parallax occlusion 3D effect for 2D textures, dynamically-present "auras," atmospheric lighting and color enhancement, enhanced depth perception, and dramatically increased detail and clarity. Though, this preset is performance-heavy.

Author notes
I believe the following from my administrative view of mod permissions indicates that mod authors would need to ask me for permission to use this mod in their mod:
Prompt given to me: "Give permission for users to use assets contained in my files in their own files?"
Choices:
"Yes, no credit or permission needed"
"Yes, but you must credit me for all the files you use"
"Not without permission from me first" <- I selected this one
"Absolutely not under any circumstances"
yet on the mod's main page the same permission is worded as:
"You must get permission from me before you are allowed to use any of the assets in this file"
oof, this makes it sound like people need permission to even download and use my file at all. no no no no no oof, definitely please download and hopefully enjoy :-D , just ask me first about including my mod in any other mods as per the standard intended meaning from the NexusMods site :) .File credits
Thanks to ReShade and the preset authors for making possible this ReShade configuration mod. All this mod does is use a selection of ReShade presets in a rendering order and with custom settings.

aliasing and grain, detail, parallax occlusion/holographic 2D->3D effect, color and atmosphere seem improved
- changed screen-space reflections settings, temporal anti aliasing settings and filter order, and sharpening filter order.
-
Version 12.05.0002
- focus on fixing aliasing and grain with Temporal Anti-Aliasing moved up filter chain, oversharpening addressed
-
Version 12.02.0001

-
Version 11.01.0005
- sharpness increased back to .5
-
Version 11.01.0003
- anti-aliasing added, reduced sharpening. much less shimmering and jaggies, 2D-> 3D a lot more present, bloom/glow vibe/effects render more
-
Version 11.00.0010
- further tuning of screen space reflections to bring about 2D -> holographic/fractalized 3D more. as well, the ground at distance looks better
-
Version 11.00.0001
- saturation increased; seems to improve 2D stuff -> 3D further. huge development in holographic fractalizing of textures and things, everywhere, with more texture resolution and geometry, there is more of this effect. So far, no artifacting anywhere I've checked in the game, including the usual
-
Version 11.00.0000
- screen space reflections tweaked, much more present 2D->3D fractalization/holographic effect
-
Version 10.05.0005
- GloomAO adjusted slightly to improve visuals generally, especially auras and fractalizing/holographic effect
Note: replaced with previous version after further testing for fractalizing/holographic effect. I am still thinking on increasing saturation again and increased presence of auras if possible and doesn't reduce aforementioned effect
- GloomAO adjusted slightly to improve visuals generally, especially auras and fractalizing/holographic effect
-
Version 10.05.0004
- further work on addressing oversaturation of ground, improving VFX, and the 2D texture -> 3D fractalizing/holographic things effect
-
Version 10.04.0007
- ambient occlusion increased to provide more atmosphere and color, sharpness increase looks really good
-
Version 10.03.0003
- the ground oversaturation bug finally fixed, while the 2D->fractaling 3D effect well-preserved!
-
Version 10.03.0002
- bloom and sharpening adjusted to more readily bring about 2D texture -> fractalizing 3D shapes
-
Version 10.02.0003
- ambient occlusion strength adjusted to address overshading
-
Version 10.02.0000
- work focused on bringing out 3D effect from 2D textures, now fractalizing/holographic effect is more present and hyper-detailed, and the mod is now more colorful
-
Version 8.02.0003
- the 2D->3D texture effect is shaping up well, looking even holographic with some surfaces
-
Version 8.02.0001
- since v8 early versions, settings changed for more colorfulness, more "aura" presence, more immersive atmosphere, and further detail rendition and 2D->3D texture effect
-
Version 8.00.0005
- Extensive work on colorfulness, presence of "auras" that are still well-blended and dynamically-present, detail, and 2D textures looking 3D. also, fixes aliasing from oversharpening, and distant ground detail is now rendered pretty well
-
Version 7.01.0011
- tweaked for better 2D texture -> 3D effect, still testing
-
Version 7.01.0010
- Changes to especially ambient occlusion to maximize 2D textures appearing 3D (most textures, if they are not really low-res), some more dynamic color to shading
-
Version 7.00.0005
- desaturation fixed
-
Version 7.00.0001
- changes to BloomingHDR and RadiantGI that enhance 2D textures appearing 3D processing effect
-
Version 6.01.0002
- dithering enabled for the first time in this mod's development as an experiment to reduce banding; BloomingHDR exposure value reduced to limit overprocessing and increase available data that should in theory improve visuals, given brightness is balanced in final image
-
Version 6.00.0001
- Adjusted saturation and maxed out detail rendition. (fixed the "(updated, testing)" typo in the file description (the file version uploaded here is the same as the one used for the v6.00.0001 screenshots here)
-
Version 6.00.0000
- Previous version (v5.04.0002) was too soon to release - bad aliasing and 3D texture effect not rendering as best as I've seen it do , because I couldn't see these flaws (not seeing the forest for the trees, having "tunnel vision") despite trying so hard to make it better and being sure there weren't any further improvements I could think of (/rant, new plan, I should allow for beta versions alongside stable releases, because I want the community to have access to my latest work <3 <3 <3 and it helps with creative block)
This version addresses aliasing, graininess, and banding (mostly but some few spots in game still have it to a degree), with improved performance a bit by removing the anti-aliasing processing step/filter, and restored the 3D texture effect I was seeing in private builds, better than ever. Edit: After further testing, this version seems to be very well tuned, no over- or under-processing, where everything actually really ties together basically perfectly, so time to take a break :-D .

-
Version 5.04.0002
- A few relatively small tweaks (especially saturation and sharpening settings) to really tie all of the work of the mod together into harmonious eye candy
-
Version 5.02.0001
- single change, same setting as 5.02.0000 - Sharpening too soft for 3D texture effect addressed, so set to.6 from .5
-
Version 5.02.0000
- Single change - Sharpening harshness addressed
-
Version 5.01.0007
- Screenspace Reflections added (better raytracing), other settings adjusted too for more yet smoother detail and atmosphere.
-
Version 4.00.0001
- saturation fix/adjustment (GloomAO saturation set at the usual "5" instead of "4")
-
Version 4.00.0000
- the settings are fine-tuned enough now to bring about a 3D look to 2D textures, brightness, contrast, and color are well-tuned, and the dreamlike effect looks well-tuned
-
Version 3.04.0005
- Reduced grain, more fine-tuning of settings
-
Version 3.01.0003
- More vivid color and enhanced detail and atmosphere
-
Version 2.06.0007
- Builds on the previous version while addressing overbrightness and enhancing atmosphere, color, and depth perception
-
Version 1.03.0000
- First version.
-
Now includes alternate, more performance-friendly version that is probably 80-90% the same visually as the main version, for 30-50% performance improvement (estimated based on GPU power usage)!

After finding game, Select DirectX 10/11/12
When prompted, select the main version "Otherworldly Reshade... .ini" file to download the required repositories
While in-game, select "Otherworldly Reshade... .ini" from ReShade menu (default to launch is "home" key) if needed
----------
I am hopeful to develop this ReShade mod of OPPW4 as much as possible, given in theory I run out of settings that need (fine-)tuning. Please provide any feedback if desired; it can help a lot to have a second perspective :-) . Cheers <3 !
