Custom Player Limit
by Sinai | My Mods | My GitHub
Credit to Faedar and Ashnal for the original mod.
This mod allows you to set a custom "Room size" for Multiplayer when you are the Host, allowing you to play with all your friends.
Note: Outward is NOT designed for more than 2 people. This mod fixes some bugs that arise from increasing the limit, but do not expect a smooth experience.
Please read:
To set your room size limit, use the BepInEx Config to adjust your settings. I recommend installing BepInEx Configuration Manager to adjust the config in-game, otherwise the config file will be generated to "BepInEx\config\com.sinai.custommultiplayerlimit.cfg".If you want to join an online game in Split mode, one player should join the game first, then start split to bring the second player in.For best results, ALL players should install this mod, otherwise you may be unable to rest (sleep) and may encounter other bugs.Make sure you set the same "Network Region" in your in-game settings (not settings for this mod).Only one person should join a game at a time. If you have multiple people joining, make sure everyone spaces it out so you don't have multiple people joining at once.
How To Install
This is a BepInEx mod.
If you haven't already, download and install BepInEx: instructions hereDownload the CustomMultiplayerLimit.zip file from the Files pagePut this zip file in your Outward directory, so it looks like "Outward\CustomMultiplayerLimit.zip"Right-click the file and Extract Here, so it merges with the folders.Done!
