UE4SS Installation Instructions

  • Download the latest version of UE4SS and unzip
  • Navigate to your PalWorld game directory
    Steam: Right click on game in Steam -> Manage -> Browse Local Files
    Xbox App: Select Palworld, click the three dot button ( ... ) and click Manage from the dropdown.  Then select the FILES tab and click BROWSE...
  • Navigate to the Win64 folder (Steam) or WinGDK folder (XBox) in your PalWorld game directory:
    ...\Pal\Binaries\Win64\

    or

    ...\Pal\Binaries\WinGDK\
  • Move the contents of the unzipped UE4SS folder into the Win64/WinGDK folder
  • Run the game once and then close it once you get to the main menu.  This is to generate any necessary files/folders.
  • UE4SS is now installed

    Yeah, doesn't work after the last update. Tried to remove the mods, and UE4SS, (none of my mods affects the gameplay or add new things), but got another error message instead. Btw I'm on dedicated server on my own PC.

    After game updating to version 0.5 when I try to connect to an online server via Palworld-Win64-Shipping.exe I get the error "UniqueNetId is not valid". Is there any chance to fix this?

    Can i install this on a server? And if so, do I just follow the same instructions for a steam install? Any help would be most appreciated. thank you.

    Glad to see this is crashing everyone else's game, too. I was ready to tear out my hair trying to figure out what was going on. It's a shame, I really liked the mods attached to this, but it's simply unplayable right now.

    Tried everything possible just cant seem to get the Ue4SS to create the folders when i open the game.

      Same here. I was using vortex before this, and it still didn't work.

      Mine didn't create the folders but I'm pretty sure it's still working. The Faster Hatch Time Mod that I just installed which requires UE4SS to function is functioning properly without any folders generated when I opened the game to the menu. It only generated a log file.

      EDIT: When I try and close the game it just sits on Now Loading forever...

    Mod installation was super duper simple and it just worked! All I had to do was read and follow basic, simple steps; and I didn't even need to ask a Large Lying Machine to burn down a forest for me.

    The game has trouble launching and when I do load in, it studders really bad. I have a rtx 4070 and on the lowest settings it studders. The game will freeze for 3 to 5 minutes at times

      That's the game's new auto-save system causing the freezing.
