I’m working on an update to support the surgery table with passive transplants and gender swaps, it’ll have a setting for “Max Reversers” which you could set to 99
I cant really figure out how to make it so I can make multiple target pal entries like how it was shown in the media section. couldnt find anything related on the github wiki.
Edit: i restarted the application and the "new" button appeared, i guess thats all i had to do to fix it xd
The calculator is not reading my dimensional storage. I just refreshed one of my results after putting everything in the dimensional box and it returned 0 results. Palcalc V1.15.1, Palworld V0.5.5.70590. Edit: Using the save inspector the dimensional storage doesn't show up on the search, but going to details shows the dimensional palbox with the character IDs and only raw properties, no detected properties. e.g. Kattiva shows as PinkCat Edit 2: Opening the dimensional storage to the guild rather that keeping it private seems to fix this problem. Palcalc is now reading my dimensional storage correctly, showing the detected properties in the save inspector's details tab, and using the pals in the calculations.
Sorry, I didn't get notified for your message. Unfortunately with the Tides of Terraria update the calculator doesn't recognize my save file anymore so I can no longer check for you.
Making my dimensional storage private again did not make it unreadable again. I wanted to test whether adding new pals would make them unreadable, but I had too many in there to pull specific pals. What I did instead was make a new save file, put some things in dimensional storage, and tried the calculator. It read my dimensional storage without issues this time, even without making it a guild box.
Entirely not sure either. I'm sure I had no mods installed at the time, though I did have an outdated faster breeding mod when I initially created that save file. It only caused my game to crash after I had tried putting down a breeding pen, so I got rid of it afterwards and continued with that save. It was sometime after that that I had downloaded the calculator. Maybe that outdated mod changed something about my save on creation that confused the calculator?
Either way though, if anyone else ever runs into this issue, they'll be able to find how to fix it.
it's great to see you continue to update the mod, thank you very much, i just found this mod of yours and i have to say i really like it, it makes my breeding much easier, thank you. by the way can i ask where the presets i save for passive skills are saved, because i'm using the all in one version so when i download i only see 1 exe file so i don't know where the presets are saved
Both "log" folders are empty, i believe that when I tried to use the calculator right after the update the folder was deleted or something, but it doesn't matter anymore, I just need to know how to make a backup so it doesn't happen again.
The app is incompatible with the latest save format, so you'll need to use a "custom save" and manually add your pals, unfortunately
If you're on Steam you can copy one of the auto-backups of your save to your desktop and manually add that, and then continue to make manual changes using Custom Containers
The app doesn't have the latest pals or breeding combos yet, I plan to at least make a new release with that data soon
So hey, I am on Steam and I try to add the Backup Save it just tells me "The selected file is not in a complete save-game folder." Did I misunderstand something or how can I add the backup save?
I'm getting the same error "The selected file is not in a complete save-game folder." now when trying to run from a level.sav file on a dedicated server. Doesn't matter if you try to point it directly to the file or extract the game save file to another location first. Is this maybe caused by the v0.6.1 update?
"When manually adding pals, do you have to do it one by one or is there a bulk way to do so?" You have to do it one-by-one

If the server was updated to 0.6.x then yes that would prevent Pal Calc from reading the save file
very confused saus you updated a few minutes ago but it still cant read the saves
edit:i see kinda wish you could just make it ignore the pals it cant understand or something i will try to use it thank you for offering an option it helps out
thank you so much for making a utility as nice as palcalc it has been so helpful as I love breeding things just to try them and you have saved me so much time and made the experience a lot more fun

Does the issue come back if you make your storage private again?
