About this mod
Sootseer now have a chance to drop Small Souls besides Bones, and even Medium and Large Souls when upgraded.

- Permissions and credits
- Changelogs
How it works
Simply send your Sootseers to a Ranch and they'll produce both Bones and Souls. Bone chance starts as 97% and goes down up to 91% with max condensation. Since Souls can be turned into any size using a Crusher, the value of bigger Souls is set to be slightly more rewarding than smaller ones.
Features
- Rank 1: 3% chance of 1x Small Soul.
- Rank 2: 3% chance of 1~2x Small Souls.
- Rank 3: 3% chance of 1~3x Small Souls, 1% chance of 1x Medium Soul.
- Rank 4: 3% chance of 1~4x Small Souls, 2% chance of 1~2x Medium Souls, 1% chance of 1x Large Soul.
- Rank 5: 5% chance of 1~5x Small Souls, 3% chance of 1~3x Medium Souls, 1% chance of 1~2x Large Souls.
1. PalSchema Installation
- Open the PalSchema page on GitHub and click on Assets. Download the latest version. Follow the official PalSchema installation instructions for further guidance. Skip this step if you already have it installed.
- Install the custom precompiled Experimental UE4SS for PalSchema (UE4SS_PalSchema_Custom-dwmapi). Skip this step if you already have it installed.
- Open your Palworld installation directory. On Steam, you can right-click the game, select Manage > Browse local files. Should be similar for other platforms.
- Download the mod and extract it directly to the Palworld directory that you just opened. If done correctly, the mod files will be placed in the correct paths automatically.
- After extracting, check that you have the following structure:
└── 📁 Pal
.└── 📁 Binaries
..└── 📁 Win64
...└── 📁 UE4SS
....└── 📁 Mods
.....└── 📁 PalSchema
......└── 📁 Mods
.......└── 📁 MelwenMods
........├── 📁 raw
........│└── 📄 sootseerranch.json
........└── 📁 translations
.........├── 📁 en
.........│└── 📄 sootseerranch.json
.........└── 📁 global
..........└── 📄 sootseerranch.json
If done correctly, the mod should work.
Troubleshooting
- Check if PalSchema is installed correctly.
- Make sure you're using the correct UE4SS version.
- Ensure the mod files are in the right folder: /Palworld/Pal/Binaries/Win64/UE4SS/Mods/PalSchema/
- Common mistakes include installing the mod to /Pal/Content/, /~mods/ or /LogicMods/. Double check if the /Mods/ folder is in /UE4SS/.
