About this mod

Rebalances the hats you receive when you defeat the towers on hard mode to make them not feel so bad to wear, stat-wise.

Changes
Changes stats for each hard mode tower boss reward hat to 900 HP and 400 Defense which should sit just below the blue Hexolite head armor. This way they still provide good endgame protection (while being stylish), but not completely pushing out higher tier armors for those looking to min-max. Durability is also set to -1 (so item doesn't break ever). Applies to all tower boss hats as well as the ultra raid boss hats. I've included two versions: one with and one without elemental resistances tacked on.

Elemental resistances (I tried to get the primary element of the boss you get it from while hitting all of the damage types, but the raid bosses are just kinda filling the gaps):
Zoe -> Electric
Lily -> Grass
Axel -> Dragon
Marcus -> Fire
Victor -> Dark
Saya -> Normal
Bjorn -> Ice

Blazamut Ryu Ultra -> Aqua
Bellanoir Libero Ultra -> Earth

Installation
  • Download PalSchema from GitHub and follow the installation instructions. You'll probably need the experimental branch of UE4SS, but it talks about it in the PalSchema instructions.
  • Optional: install the custom precompiled UE4SS for PalSchema if it doesn't work. (I've never actually tried this, just saw other people saying it)
  • Use Vortex or your preferred mod manager to install, or manually extract the .zip to your Palworld folder.
Troubleshooting
If the mod doesn't work, you're either missing PalSchema, missing the correct version of UE4SS or you extracted the mod in the wrong folder. Make sure the BetterBossHats folder is in Pal/Binaries/Win64/ue4ss/Mods/PalSchema/Mods.

Compatibility
✓ Highly compatible with all other mods. Shouldn't be incompatible with anything that doesn't directly touch these specific stats for the boss hats (if for some reason you felt inclined to do so)
