So I was looking into why animals, some enemies and generally alot of stuff didn't have proper animations and noticed that the only affected units are those who have their race set to null. So I tried giving every unit a newly created dummy race and their animations worked again.
I haven't properly tested this yet so please report any bugs or issues.
The first time it loads it goes through every blueprint, filters out the BlueprintUnits and writes them to a file. If anyone knows of a faster way to get all blueprints of a type I'd really appreciate the info on that. You can rewrite the file anytime from the Mod Manager menu.
1. In the main menu press "Rewrite file" 2. Wait for it to finish 3. Restart your game 4. Hopefully it works for you as it does for me
To uninstall 1. Load your save 2. Press uninstall 3. Deactivate mod 4. Restart game 5. Reload your save
