This 'mod' contains a single custom portrait for a heavily-armored male tiefling paladin, based on art by GAOZ Artworks, combined with Melaku's portrait from Kingmaker. Let's face it, if you wanna play a tiefling, you're screwed on portraits. This is especially true if you want to play a good-aligned tiefling, and even more so if you wanna play a tiefling who's also a paladin. And male too? Good luck with that, buddy. Everybody knows that your only choices for tiefling portraits are "beautiful woman who also happens to have horns" and "literally satan".
Well, I've had a character for a number of years now that I run in D&D and Pathfinder campaigns who is a goodish tiefling paladin. I've adapted and played him in tons of games, and I don't mean to stop anytime soon. That's why I was so sorely disappointed by the portrait selection available to male tieflings. There's genuinely ONE portrait in the default game, two if you count the leftover one from Kingmaker. And guess what, they both look super evil, and lightly armored. Nothing like a Paladin at all! So this is my attempt at fixing that particular issue.
I made this portrait for myself using adobe photoshop to remove Melaku's head and replaced it with a re-colored version of the tiefling art. Since I went through the trouble of making the edit, I felt like it would be a shame not to share it, so here it is. I feel it's very important to note that I am NOT the artist responsible for either piece, I merely edited them together. The original artwork can be found here.
