Description & Features
This ReShade preset offers more dramatic lighting and colors as well as optional cinematic effects (toggleable with hotkeys) that delivers believable, gritty, and hopefully even more captivating visuals to enhance the already gorgeous work done by Grinding Gear Games in PoE2. Care was taken to ensure vanilla visibility is virtually unchanged (so the game isn't made harder than in vanilla). Additionally, you shouldn't experience crushed shadows or clipped blacks or crazy blown-out highlights or whites.
Optional cinematic effects are offered as well, including depth-of-field, letterbox, film grain, and camera lens emulation. Each effect is on a toggle key for quickly customizing your experience to your own taste or enhancing your image for with a more cinematic quality for taking screenshots. If this is reasonably popular, I'll add more presets, like a more Dark Souls-inspired or dark fantasy style.
I really hope you enjoy my work! Please remember to endorse if you enjoy the preset, it means a lot.
Cheers,
Merc
All added effects are on hotkeys for easy and quick toggling when/if undesired (toggle keys listed next to the corresponding effects in the ReShade menu).
