**Preparation:**
1. Extract the files to a folder of your choice.
2. **Important:** The executable file is named `zane_poe2_X3D_fix_crashes.exe` and is ready for use.
3. Ensure your system allows the execution of `.exe` files and your antivirus software does not block the tool.
**Starting the Tool:**
1. Double-click on `zane_poe2_X3D_fix_crashes.exe` to run the tool.
**Process Name:**
- By default, the tool monitors the Steam version of Path of Exile 2 (`PathOfExileSteam.exe`).
- The tool also supports alternative versions (e.g., standalone or Epic Games).
- If you need to monitor a custom version, please contact the author for assistance or refer to the source code.
**Stopping the Tool:**
- Close the console window or press **CTRL+C** to stop the tool.


What the Tool Does
------------------
- Monitors disk activity of Path of Exile 2.
- Reduces CPU usage to physical cores only during high disk activity.
- Restores full CPU usage when disk activity returns to normal.
This dynamic adjustment helps prevent crashes and improves stability, especially for AMD X3D processors.

README Alternate Simple Version - Fixed Threads.

**Preparation:**
Download and extract the executable file (POE2_X3D_Fix.exe).
Run the tool by double-clicking the POE2_X3D_Fix.exe file.
The tool will run in the background and wait for Path of Exile 2 to start.
Start the game as usual.
The tool will automatically detect the game process and adjust the CPU affinity.
Close the tool when you finish playing.
Simply close the command window, or it will stop automatically when the game is closed.
