About this mod

This will enable RT reflections for any shiny surface. Atlus did this for select areas only. Also works on Tartarsauce.

First things first, this more of a guide. I can tinker, but unfortunately can't code.
Second, while this isn't install & forget, it might seem worse than it actually is. If you do it proper, it's a button press once in a while.
Third, performance is alright I think. I've set RT reflections to 50% render scale, which didn't affect visuals at 1400p at all, really.

Onto the core issue: Atlus is re-applying certain settings on a per scene basis, which I don't have control over.
Means settings we set in engine.ini like many do for UE4 games will just end up being overwriten.

This is why we have to rely on Universal Unreal Engine 4 Unlocker to manually re-apply our own setting(s).
I do expect this to work best in dungeons or any area which you are at for an extended amount of time.
If this didn't turn you off, here you we go!

First we need to put the Engine.ini that contains commands which I didn't see being overwritten (yet?) where it needs to go:
- Make sure your game is not running
- Press Win+R and paste %Localappdata%\P3R\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor into the window which opened. Enter.
- Drop the Engine.ini you downloaded here into the folder that just opened. You'll be prompted to replace. Do that, done.

Second I'll tell you how to use UUU.
- download it from the Link above and run it
- when your game is running, select it's Process in UUU.
- Click on inject DLL and tab back into your game. It might crash, but that shouldn't happen often.
- You'll see a couple popups appearing. Wait for UUU to tell you to open the console, at that point it's done.
- Back in UUU you can now navigate to Configuration and check which console keybinding works best for you. Rarely, the console will not open. Restart the game.
- There's more cool stuff in UUU, especially for making screenshots. Pausing the game, for example. Have a look!

Now you've set it up! Now you can toggle RT reflections where ever you want using r.RayTracing.Reflections 1

I recommend creating a macro which executes the last command used on either your keyboard or your controller.
That'd be your console keybind of choice, arrow up, enter.
ReWASD is one of probably many tools which can enable such macros on controllers.

If the reflections ever look grainy to you, a command I've set in the engine.ini likely got overwritten. I've put a cheat sheet into the archive which contains all commands used and what they do for convenience's sake.

I know this isn't install & forget, but I thought I'd share what I found since someone might still find joy in it.
