About this mod
Adds better ambient occlusion through either Ray Traced Ambient Occlusion (RTAO) or GTAO.

IMPORTANT: RTAO is expensive, and is only excpected to run smoothly on mid/high-end 30 or 40 series NVIDIA cards. Recomended to use GTAO.
RTAO runs mostly @ locked 4k 120fps on a RTX 4090.

How to install (Steam):
- Download either the RTAO or the GTAO config.
- Navigate to Appdata/Local/P3R/Saved/Config/WindowsNoEditor. Open Engine.ini.
- Paste the contents of the downloaded config at the end of the file. Save.
- Right click, "properties" on Engine.ini. Check "Read-only" to make the file not get overwritten.
BONUS: If you are using RTAO and struggling with performance, try decreasing r.RayTracing.AmbientOcclusion.SamplesPerPixel. Increasing it makes AO resolve more detailed. Must be a multiple of 2.
Also, feel free to add other Engine.ini settings.
KNOWN ISSUES:
GTAO provides overall better AO than vanilla, but might darken the overall scene depending on where you are.
Although RTAO is vastly superior, RTAO unfortunately causes a few visual artefacts, mainly with glass objects. This happens because RT transparency is not supported. This causes the glass on the bookcases in Iwatodai to not be transparent. Same with the bulletin-board on Paulownia mall. Also, the crane game in Paulownia has broken occlusion inside the glass. Another minor artefact is that sometimes character faces receive very slight blocky shadows. Can be seen in all-out attacks, but I have not seen it elsewhere. There is no fix for these as of now. Any bug post about this will be removed.
