About this mod
Ghost Note is a simple C# program that is an "external" alternative to the in-game Journal
- Requirements
- Permissions and credits
The most useful will be less experienced players who have not yet learned all the habits and features of all ghosts.
All properties and descriptions of each ghost can be edited as you like. The kit comes with everything that I personally managed to collect on the Internet and from my own observations, so some minor points may not be true or may not be relevant.
Basic controls:
- LMB - select clue or ghost
- RMB - cross out evidence or ghost
- The "Reset"(Сброс) button restores all values to their original values (for a quick reset at the beginning of the roller)
- Double clicking on the logo duplicates the "Reset" button
- ? next to the Clue means that there is a ghost with this Clue in the current selection (i.e. if there is none, there is no point in checking such Clue)
- Selecting a ghost highlights its clues, omens, sanity to start the hunt and movement speed when hunting, as well as a brief summary (4 fields on the right)
- Crossing out a ghost hides it ? evidence, if he was alone with such
- If the ghost in the sample falls under both the indicated evidence and signs, its color will be different (see Banshee on screenshot 2)
- To change a ghost, you need to select it and check the "Edit" checkbox, and after making changes, click "Save Ghost"
- The "Note" field can be edited and saved separately without going into ghost editing (that's why it's a note)
- The "Accurate" checkbox in the Sanity group shows only ghosts with a selected amount of sanity to start the hunt, without it - all who are "selected or more".
- The slider below the note changes the font size, but only those four text fields on the right.
- Maps button (карта). Opens a separate window with location maps. Inside there is a schematic view of maps indicating cursed objects, an electrical panel, cameras, etc., a legend, a breakdown by floor and a link to the page of this map on the fandom, if you need detailed information.
- Maps. If you need to change the order of the maps or simply rename them, just rename the folders with maps as needed in .\images\maps\ and restart the program, sorting there alphabetically.
- You can also change the name of almost all elements of the main window, in a separate window (Pencil icon next to "_ X"), whoever needs it will figure it out himself.
- If you need to quickly reset the parameters of a ghost, you can delete its folder from the ghosts folder or individual files in it. Numbering goes from left to right (Spirit - 1, Phantom - 3, Poulter - 4, etc.)
- If you don't like the sounds made by the program, just delete, rename or move them from the sounds folder.
- For the visually impaired: Button in the upper right corner with the corresponding icon. Enlarges almost all the font of the main window and expands the window "to full screen". The mode is a crutch “in five minutes for a sidekick” and works normally only if you start it immediately after launching the software (without poking at evidence or ghosts). To disable it correctly, it is better to restart the program.
PS. You can translate main elements on your own by integrated tool (pen button). Also all ghosts text descriptions you can translate and save.
I'm too lazy to translate this, sorry ┐( ̄ヮ ̄)┌
Thanks Google Translate
