Modwyr itself has its own bug (Game version: 5.0.0.0040)
(Normally you won't come across this bug, but in the case of using this mod, you could.)
Q. What bug?
A. If Modwyr doesn't exist in the game for a while, you can't talk to her anymore.
Q. What do you mean "doesn't exist"?
A. Like the case she in companion's inventory and not in the party.
Q. How can I avoid the bug?
A. Don't make her not exist in the game: Two things you must have in mind.
- Don't dismiss the party member whose inventory the Modwyr is in.
- So, don't go on the deck. (Being on the deck makes your party members dismissed temporarily.)
If you must, keep Modwyr in the Party Stash(co-inventory) or in watcher's inventory.
Q. Hey, I didn't read this so the bug happened. What can I do?
A. Iroll20s and Giveitem Sword_Soulbound_Modwyr
You can talk to new one so that you can upgrade the previous one. Just use the new one only for the conversations.

Upgrade her right after the acquisition. Go sail to the direction of Crookspur and there are many pirates or if you know the better place, well.
Q. Then what is the point of this mod? We can upgrade her with the Watcher if we have to upgrade her right after the acquisition, it's so brief.
