'Worldmodel to Viewmodel' will make the worldmodels of the weapons playable.
Comes with viewmodel hands and without.

This mod aims to make the worldmodel weapons playable, since the viewmodels often differ a lot from them.
A good example is the double barreled shotgun.
It appears small in first person, but its world model has long barrels and a darker texture.
The mod also gives the standard shotgun a world model, which can be seen in Arcane Dimensions.

This mod comes mainly in two versions.
'Standard' and 'With Hands'.
Standard - Contains simply the weapon models. No hands. Optimised for a more traditional, centered weapon experience.
With Hands - The weapons are now held with hands. This package is best enjoyed with source ports which allow the angling of weapons.
Additional Packages:
- Quake Test Nailguns - Makes the nailguns from QTEST playable.
- Arcane Dimensions - Makes the worldmodels of Arcane Dimensions playable.
Best used with Arcane Dimensions, but can also work with the standard game.
- ShotgunVanillaPosition (for Arcane Dimensions) - Raises the position of the single shotgun to look more like in the standard game.
Angled: In this, the weapons are angled by default. A special version of 'With Hands' intended for source ports without weapon angling
possibilities and the Deathmatch-mode of the Quake Remaster.
Installation:
1. Choose the version you want.
2. Open the root folder of your Quake installation.
File path if purchased from Steam:
?:\Steam\steamapps\common\Quake - Standard
?:\Steam\steamapps\common\Quake\rerelease - Quake Remaster
3. Navigate to your 'id1' folder and drop the pak file of this mod's id1 folder inside it.
4. Do the same for the hipnotic (SoA) and rogue (DoE) folders.
5. Play the game.
How to angle weapons:
Quake Remaster:
Open the console and type in these commands:
scr_ofsx # - Moves weapons further or closer to the screen. Negative values move them further away.
scr_ofsy # - Moves weapons to the right or left. Negative values move them to the right.
The value '0' is the default for both commands.
I recommend a value of -6 for both for a good experience.
The commands gets disabled when playing multiplayer, even with bots.
Quakespasm has viewmodels angled by default.

'Worldmodel to Viewmodel' was mainly made for the Quake Remaster and works best with it.
Only replaces the old MD2 models. The remastered models are NOT replaced.
Disclaimer: The pictures in this mod were shot in the Remaster and the weapons were angled via console commands.
By default, they are centered.
