I found that encounters were over too fast. There is so much preparation and lead up and tension building and then....it's over in one second. The music picks up, your heart beats a little fast....and it's over in one second.

Ultimately I found that the encounters ended too quickly for the amount of care and detail that VOID has crafted in each map.
I found that the gameplay is either: it goes perfectly and is uneventful, or it goes any other way and is over in less than one second.
I actually want to PLAY the game, so this mod extends gameplay. Rather than a single encounter over instantanesouly (they superman you, or they instantly surrender) I wanted to have to move and have dynamic combat with aggressive suspects that would rather die than surrender.
I play with the intent to subdue everyone non fatally. Bring the VKS and shoot the living heck out of these guys, they can take it.
Double check after all the fun has ended, people you cuffed have bled out, and they have also dropped hidden weapons. Due to their increased tendency to possess or acquire weapons, there is a KNOWN ISSUE where most of the time I miss a gun or two (thankfully you can vote end map once the main objectives are completed).
Probably not realistc except i feel that vanilla suspects surrender waaaaaaay too easily, this mod is not supposed to make it realistic-er, it's supposed to make it funner.
These guys are insane. They really don't want to surrender or stand still. They will fake surrender, fake die, and stand back up when their friend starts shooting you from across the room. They have lots of health, shoot em. Use the VKS and bean em in the head popopopopopopopopop like a whole magazine before shouting at em. Check em later though, they probably bled out after you handcuffed em. May be some bomb vest suspects and/or civs (next update will remove them from all but a few maps).
I play solo with No SWAT mod, 10xArmor90Slots mod, Less Aim Sway and a few others (but those are pretty much required if you want to survive longer than like 3 seconds)
and I always try to NOT KILL.
This mod is incredibly fun. Not supposed to be real life becuase this a video game.
