Mod Request - Removal of Rifle Holster

Honestly, I've always liked how John looked without the rifle holster on his back. I think some outfits would greatly benefit from him NOT wearing it. Like the Elegant Suit or the Gentlemen's Attire. Even regular outfits like his default one or his ranching one. 

Removing it from the model would probably be enough. I don't think people will mind the rifle disappearing into the abyss. Nor will I.

If someone manages to make the mod, you'll be my hero.

    Yeah the mod im working on will do this since the rifle holster wasnt even a concept till lateish 2009 year before games release, if youd like i can try to provide an early version with that when its ready

      Didn't you say in another post that it wouldn't be possible to hide the rifle and it's holster?

      i dont think you can hide the rifle itself but the holster is something ive already had hidden before on switch
      just gonna need more stuff to convert everything from there to pc

      Since you can't remove the rifle, I wonder how it's coded at the very beginning of the game when you play as John for the very first time. In theory, could it be possible to replicate that process? Even if it means sacrificing the rifle as a whole?

      Stges since you can remove the holster but not the rifle, you could modify one of long weapons, turning it totally invisible (even when equiped), so that when John put it in his back the rifle Will be "removed", what you think? Just a guess

      Update, found a way to hide the rifle from a whole on the players back can hide any item from player like knife etc.
