I dunno. Arthur was walking through Rhodes for the umpteenth time and happened to notice the coffins. There were two -- only two coffins there -- and this popped into my head.

Have a good weekend all you buckaroos.

Need to play this game again, it's been a while , loved the tracking and hunting big game in it ( amongst other things)
Great looking image and nice to read your thoughts about it.

The hunting and fishing are fun "distractions". Arthur needs to eat, but it's not obtrusive like in Survival Mode in FO4. Just a fun thing to do. I spend a lot of time just riding around enjoying the countryside and sometimes finding things I've never seen before. Despite all the hours I have in the game I still haven't done the Nosferatu quest, for example (among others).
      Thanks.

I think I used the original soundtrack version for the song here. The Danish Symphony Orchestra recording is very good also. I get confused about which song goes with which movie, but they are all good. There's an a old TV and movies channel here that does Clint Eastwood all weekend, then John Wayne the next, and so on. We watched Unforgiven, Sister Sara, and High Plains Drifter back to back a few weeks ago. And a month or two before, they did the No Name trilogy. It was good, since GP hadn't seen some of them.

You, too. I don't think I can have as much fun as he is having. Hmm... It's Disney, but -- Alice in Wonderland?

Yes, I know, but I liked the gif image so much. Of course it doesn't really fit here.

your images, Ennio Morricone and Sergio Leone remind me of a great unforgettable western era.
jill's theme from once upon a time in the West...
now we can be part of it in games like rdr!
my plan was to play rdr but ac odyssey and greece mythology came across and i'm still not done with my vault dweller... ;)
a nice sunday afternoon to you!

I just watched Once Upon a Time in the West again a few nights ago. I enjoyed it very much.Yes, Jill's theme is lovely -- I'm listening to it now. Not the typical song from Morricone, but very nice.  My guess-- Since most (all) of his other songs are about tough gunslingers, he had to do something different, something sweet and special for her.

The game will still be there waiting for you on the Steam library. And I'm sure there will be some good sale prices.

Oh here's something I did awhile back about Once Upon a Time -- Final Duel 2. It was a 3 or 4 part series.  This was from the "Two too many" scene at the train station.

It's difficult not to have Sergio Leone movie clips flit through one's head when playing this game.   Two of my favorite opening scenes in movies by him are High Plains Drifter (with The Stranger riding out of the heat waves with the eerie music) and the train station scene with the creaking windwill in Once Upon a Time in the West.   Fun shot of Arthur perusing the coffins.

That's true about this game.  Yep, creaking windmill. Another thing about the "Two Horses too many" opening is the train whistle. After several minutes of watching Jack Elam deal with a fly and other boring things, the train whistle slices through the scene like a knife through the canvas of an oil painting.

That's a wonderful main shot, Laird. And thanks for the movie clip. Sergio Leonne is such a master film maker. Even with sound turned off his cinema is so intense.

And they wonder why the WWF is so popular.
