About this mod
In an effort to add something small to the community that enrichens this game so much, here are some horses to honor National Native American Heritage Day. I wanted to see more horses influenced by Native Indian Culture. Not meant to be "realistic" or even "immersive", just respectful and what I like.

Native American Horses
This mod so far adds one to eight horses with my first one set of markings (will be adding more if there's interest).
As well as six different mottled (dappled?) horse coats that I bandaged together from vanilla Murfree brood files.
They are all ytd files that you just add to your LML\Stream folder. You can add just one (set of) files or all of them.
Markings I chose
Circles on eye and nose make the horses' senses stronger
Arrow on the neck is a symbol of victory
Hand symbolizes vengeance against the enemy and/or success in combat
Upside down brackets means number of successful horse stealing raids
Lines on the bridge of the nose means overthrowing a settlement
Lightening and thunder jagged lines on legs means victory and symbol of speed and stealth
Dots anywhere on horse (chest on mine) mean prayer for hail to fall on enemy
Indian names for horses
I've named the horses not by breed, but by names I found that represent Indians that once lived or things in American Indian languages that I thought kind of represent the colors in their coats.

National Native American Heritage Day began with Red Fox James, a Blackfoot Indian riding horseback from state to state in 1914, seeking endorsement from 24 states to support a national day recognizing and honoring Native Americans.
No horses were harmed in the making of this mod!
