Add the Cerbat Mustang to your game with this mod! It includes a custom model and more than 20 custom textures! Cerbat Mustangs spread through South Usa, like Colorado or Arizona and feature an arch-built neck like his cousin, the Andalusian.

Hello, everyone, and Happy New Year to you all! I've been very busy these last months and that's why there wasn't any new addon coming from me so far. I was working hard to continue my "Wild Horses" mod saga, this time with the Cerbat Mustang, which is
the slimmest version in the breed, making it to look close to the Andalusian. And it comes with a surprise: more than 20 new custom coats! Totally new, because you won't find them in any other horse mod for RDR2. I've been learning to create them properly, and that implies a lot of practice -and many problems to solve, really you can't tell!-, almost 3 months, so from now on, every single horse breed I create will have custom textures.
Hope you don't miss roans so much, because I focused mainly in coloured/painted/pintos and left some other coats in the background for later. Yeah, for later, since these designs won't be the last ones. I still have some in my top list to be done, just they're not particularly easy. The famous wild stallion Picasso is half-baked right now, as its Thor, another one pretty propular but really difficult to portray (overos spots are very annoying). Definitely you'll have more new pinto designs, but I'll upload them as bonus updates in future, when I've taken a rest from this crazyness; my PC is a dds. mess right now. I can't say when I'll work again. Maybe tomorrow, maybe the next month... I don't know. When I feel like creating more steeds.
There're a lot of customization options for eachtexture like several hairstyles and also blue eyes for some horses that can feature this in real life, so you can pick the one you prefer the most, but I haven't added feathers at the moment yet; maybe I do it but it's a huge amount
of work just adding an extra cluster for each coat and its respective variants and I need badly to get this project done at once. Actually, I'm counting horses instead of sheeps when trying to sleep and my mind is full of galloping steeds I'd like to portray but I've not finished yet, so I hope you like my horse herd.
As you may notice, there's a bunch of painted/pintos in the menu, and not for any reason; while they're very rare and
exceptional in Pryors, the Cerbat Mustang type often features pintos when you look up for pics in Google. They're mostly tobianos and toveros, so those are the pinto types which I tried to represent above all; however, you'll find some overos too and, as in real life, there's a blue eyes version for each one of them to pick. The only exception is the bue roan tobiano, based on Renegade, a black and white stallion from South Steens with inusual blue eyes.
My horses are using mixed double manes (Loose+ Tousled = Looseled; Long + Tousled = Longled; Frayed + Tousled = Frayled;
Sleek + Unkempt = Unsleek) and there isn't any normal single option because I
didn't planned them to feature single manes and I'd prefer you enjoy them like
this. However, there's a sort of clipping and you might don't like them because
of that, so I'll explain you how to remove them without any special app or
software other than Bloc Notes.
HOW TO REMOVE EASILY DOUBLE MANES
1) Open YMT file with your Bloc Notes app.
2) You'll see a lot of codes and paragraphs, but you only need to locate the one that contains the mane data code.
3) Every mane has a code attached to it:
Tousled: 0xA90EBD77
Unkempt: 0x850C7577
Long: 0x3DD0E701
Loose:0xDC40C87C
Frayed:0xEE446C83
Sleek:0x019B9335
4) Locate the mane data paragraph you want to delete with these codes.
5) The mane data paragraph starts by "Item" and ends in a second "Item" below. Just select from the first "Item" word to the
second "Item", with the mane paragraph in the middle, and click in
"delete".
6) Save your changes and done! The mane you don't like won't appear the next time you open your game.
ABOUT VARIANTS
Regarding "Variants", those are other colorcoat options. Every file contains the main coat version, and some designs have
a "variant" folder, where you'll find several sub-folders with more colors.
Be careful! Since each variant coat uses a different set of YTDs (texture files), so don't mix them.
If there's a color, the color will contain the right texture to work. In other cases, the folder "Variants" will show YTDs in there, and color
sub-folders apart only with YMTs inside, which means that all the coat variants are sharing same YTDs.
REQUIREMENTS
-Lenny'sMod Loader.
-Alexander Blade Scripthook.
-Asi Loader (dll version).
-Rampage Trainer.
HOW TO INSTALL
1) Install firstly the required script mods from above and choose the proper version of each one akin to your game version. You can find them in Nexus, as well as their installation guides, but generally you'll have to extract the ABS (or another Scripthook), the Asi Loader dll file and more folders into the main root game folder.
2) Go inside your RDR2 game directory, where you have your .exe and launcher, and create a new folder called LML.
3) Click LML and, once you get there, create another folder more called Stream, where you'll place all the YMTs and YTDs files. Just drag'em all here.
4) Launch your game and if everything is right, you'll see a loading bar and finally you'll be able to summon your new horses with Rampage Trainer >> Spawner >> Peds >> Horses
5) If your horses are invisible it's because something got wrong: maybe their textures are not compatible with scripts versions or you've placed another mod that changes some textures, or perhaps it's a conflict between mods textures. My advice: don't place textures YTDs files that have the same names unless they're provided by the same author, due to some YTMs can share their texture with no problem but they're mostly those ones like the grey Kentucky from Improved Kentucky Saddlers Mod, which is able to share the +45 texture files with the buttermilk buckskin from the same modder. If they come from different authors, they'll be probably not compatible.
6) If you want to replace a different horse in game, rename the YTM file to the horse you want to be replaced instead. There's a guide in Nexus with all the proper names to choose from but you can use the list from below which includes all horses breeds codes. If you want to replace, for example, the American Paint Grey Overo, copy & paste the former ymt. so you can rename the horse file and so
you'll see the new horse breed instead of the old grey overo ingame.
BUGS
Some pinto horses have edgy ghost pixels around spots color borderlines. I tried to remove them all, but it's sometimes impossible when I'm forced to rework and export many times the same DDS after editing process in Gimp. It's only noticeable in dark coloured pintos when you look at them very closely with your game photo mode, so you barely find them by playing normally.
Long and sleek manes from Unsleek and Longled combos may disappear or become
invisible if you spawn many horses with these hairstyles with Rampage Trainer
in the same place.
That's all for now! Hope you enjoy my Mustangs. Criticism is appreciated and
feel free to post about it in the comments. Also, the mod is not over and you can make suggestions, for example, a horse or coat you'd like to be represented, but I won't accept horses by request here, because there's a lot of color variety and I think your basic coat needs are well covered. Happy horsing!
