A small batch file that creates a copy of your autosave every minute, keeping two last backup copies from 1 min and 2 min ago, so you can always roll back to a previous overwritten autosave before you died (or your horse died, or some other unfortunate accident happened).
- Permissions and credits
When you die, or when your horse dies, or some other undesirable accident happens, the game immediately creates a new autosave, overwriting the previous one. In a case like that you can only roll back to your last manual save, and if it was a while ago, you will lose a lot of progress. But I wrote a small batch file, that creates a copy of your autosave every minute, keeping two backup copies from 1 min and 2 min ago:
