*Laughs* It's a lot like that except that the combat system in RDR2 is much more survivable *Laughs* Well, that, and you can actually optimize your character to be extra good unarmed :)
You might not have noticed, but my character was slightly healed with each person she knocked out. You get a few "powers" you can equip by card, and that's one of the powers I select because it helps when soloing against large groups of NPCs :)
Is this RDR2 online or the base game? I'm curious which one you can play female. As great as Witcher 3 was, I hated being streamlined into a male character.
Hello again, my friend! I only play RDR2 Online because it lets you play your own character (hence in our case a woman). So far I've logged 380 hours online, and I really like it. While I log into GTA Online several times a week, I actually log into RDR2 Online daily.
I've been attacked by other players maybe six or seven times in that 380 hours, so it's not bad. You can't get solo sessions like in GTA Online, but of the six or seven people who attacked me, I actually killed three of them before they could kill me, and that's significant since it's very hard for me to find who's shooting at me. If you're in Defensive (passive) mode, they can't generally one-shot kill you.
Good heavens, what a rowdy she is. I'm assuming she went in there to kick butt for a reason not just because she was feeling ornery. Rock Star finally did an update to the launcher so I was able to get it installed and play R2R2. Love it, although poor Arthur keeps getting kilt--I need to be a bit more coordinated on the keyboard. Great vid, Karna!
Hi! I'm so glad to hear you got the RDR2 working! There's a setting for keyboard and mouse which helps me a ton you might want to try. By default the direction you look with the mouse also steers the horse. I found this made mounted combat horribly difficult because the horse would turn when I aimed, making it really hard to hit stuff. You can change the way the horse steers to ignore the direction you look, particularly when aiming. Once I made that change things got much easier! :)
I didn't play the single player Arthur stuff beyond the introduction (I just do the Online part where I can use my own character). But I presume Arthur is also the same that as you build up his health and stamina he survives better. I was kinda squishy at first, too *Laughs*
As for the bar fight, she took up a profession called Moonshiners. The people in the bar were rival NPC moonshiners encroaching on our territory. So she went in there to teach them a lesson without killing them :)
No, I didn't know about that song! But I just listened to it, and I love it! :) I'll be sure to get it on iTunes! Thanks for the suggestion, the visit and the kind words, my friend!!! :)

Ever heard the song Moonshiner? I couldn't find a decent copy of Dylan's original, but this one is not too bad.
