first of all, if you are looking for CHALLENGE, check RFH mod.
If you are looking for more "relaxed" experience, here we are. I had some issues with Remnant so I digged a little with my little knowledge to do little tinkering, nothing big, just little. Could use little more of little... Anyway, remnant from hell is too big overhaul for me, i like to enjoy original remnant.
What i have changed so far:
weapons rebalance - dmg for few weapons that were really behind, ammo reserves to put all weapons more in line, some were able to do 1700dmg with full reserve and some about 4000 dmg, now its somewhere between 3000 - 4000 per reserve
1 hour buffs changed to 2 hours, stew give little bigger bonus, golden plum gives usable regen (0,6/s), icefruit 10%CC, divine nectar 15% armor, jerky 20%CD
uncapped level
uncapped upbrade for weapons and armors (something to grind for), basicaly incorporated those two mods - armor and weapons for now until i understand how it works
turret summon have 15%CC
breakables and loot containers give little more schtuff (everyone love schtuff, also inspired by this mod more loot)
more visible loot beams - incorporated this mod
shortbuff consumables last 2 minutes, bloodworth now regens 2hp/s to be actualy usefull, frenzy lowered to 15% reload and 10% firerate due to longer duration
resistance potion are now 50 res instead of 30 res
rebalanced difficulties to be more linear and less IK on apocalypse - and this is PERSONAL opinion, IK is not difficulty, so there are increased spawns, and boss have lowered dmg. My idea of difficulty is to have ability to do same mistake on veteran as on apocalypse, difference is that on veteran you have window to do one or two mistakes during bossfight and then you kill him, on apo you will need more ammo, more time, more precision to kill him, so you will be forced to keep those mistakes on minimum, or really think how to recuperate from them during fight.
Feel free to throw some ideas with s(r)easoning, i can try to put them in. Main target for this mod is to streamline experience, keep it more or less vanilla and be more welcoming to less skilled players. At the moment even apocalypse is more forgiving than vanilla, maybe in future i will rebalance it in ways of RFH to give grinders some motivation, we will see...
At the moment i am looking on trinkets and rings if i can do some changes (i love vertebrae from hell mod, much more usable than original)
Wanted to include no intro, but i was refused permission, and because it is just using 2 empty files, there is actualy no other way to do it. Or not, got some idea... problem solved, short intro.
