Changelogs
Version v1.0
initial release
added additional version, that keeps the model on visual default while attachments are added.
As of June 16th, this mod only works with the DX11, Non-RT Version of the game.
Greetings,
i make no secret out of it ... i hate most, if not all custom attachments for the weapons in Resident Evil 2 (and 3). The options for the Desert Eagle in particular are most heinous. Its already a very heavy and cumbersome firearm. Adding an even bigger barrel and a sight on top of it ... that's just overkill.
So, lets turn it down a notch and make it a bit more practical.
It comes with the following features: - laser module replacing the scope (imported from the Browning Hi-Power) - Barrel texture replacement from pre-patch version
What's missing: - no custom icons - no custom inventory models
known issues: - none so far
side note If you happen to use the entire pre-patch texture for the Desert Eagle, then you'll not notice a change between barrels (aside from the obvious inventory icon). As an unintended feature, the red dot in your cross hair now makes a 'lil bit more sense, when a laser module is present, don't you think?
I may later release an option with no visual upgrades.
